Guest Bio

Daniel Nestle is the Co-Founder and Chief Product and Intelligence Officer at Lilypath, the company behind the patent-pending Authority Intelligence™ platform. He created the methodology, scoring models, and generation logic that power every Comprehensive Blueprint—Lilypath’s flagship diagnostic and optimization system designed to help professionals understand, shape, and protect how artificial intelligence systems interpret their credibility, expertise, and professional authority.

Nestle’s most significant contribution to the communications profession has been defining Authority Intelligence as a new discipline. Recognizing that LinkedIn’s deployment of AI reasoning engines represented a fundamental shift—from a world where people read you to a world where systems interpret you first—he built the diagnostic infrastructure to make that interpretation visible, measurable, and actionable. He co-founded Lilypath alongside Erin Lanuti, former Chief Innovation Officer at Omnicom Public Relations Group, and Todd Grossman, former CEO Americas at Talkwalker, launching the company in March 2026.

Nestle brings more than twenty-five years of global communications leadership to this work. His career spans corporate, agency, consulting, and entrepreneurial environments across three continents. He spent sixteen years in Japan, where he built digital marketing operations for Robert Half International’s Tokyo office, led consulting engagements for PwC, and launched his own ventures. In the United States, he held progressively senior roles at AICPA, Edelman, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, and LIXIL Americas, where he led communications and corporate responsibility while spearheading AI-driven communications transformation.

Through Inquisitive Communications, his consultancy, Nestle developed the proprietary Executive Influence Engine methodology and the WAVE System—frameworks for transforming executive expertise into market authority. He also created the concept of intellectual archaeology, a systematic approach to mining dormant professional expertise into defensible thought leadership. These original frameworks became the strategic foundation on which Lilypath’s product infrastructure was built.

Nestle is a two-time PRWeek Dashboard 25 honoree (2023, 2024), recognized among the top twenty-five movers and shakers in communications technology. He was named to the Propel 100 Most Influential PR Tech Leaders Worldwide in 2025. He is also the host of The Trending Communicator podcast, a co-author and co-editor of the Amazon bestseller The Most Amazing Marketing Book Ever with Mark Schaefer, and a recipient of the Arthur W. Page Society’s Page Up Innovation Award for COVID-era communications innovation at LIXIL.

He is an active member of the RISE learning community, the Arthur W. Page Society’s Page Up program, and Mixing Board. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science from Full Sail University. Born and raised in New Jersey, Nestle spent sixteen years in Japan and speaks Japanese. He is based in the New York City metropolitan area.
